The student-run news network, gave Jordy her first real hands-on experience as a broadcast journalist, particularly as a one-man-band. She used to film her own stand-ups, wrote and recorded her own tracks, and edited all her materials on Adobe Premiere that went on-air.

After that, she interned at the “The Rhode Show,” a local morning program aired by FOX affiliate, WPRI-TV in Providence, Rhode Island. While she was there, Jordyn did field production and even got some on-air experience. She later moved to Alicante, Spain for five months where Jordyn studied abroad at the University of Alicante and participated in the international exchange program, CIEE. On returning home in May, for local cable access channel TV9. there she did creation and production and hosted my own show titled “The Scene”
